“Sorry that I can not remember her name. She was very pleasant and did the maintenance without any problems. Would be very happy for her to come back for my next six month service.”
“We can't say enough praises about the how your technician Bella went about fixing our furnace problem. She imprssed by how she systematically diagnosed the cause. Upon finding that the flame burn OK with the cover is off but went out when it's back on, she recognized the problem is due to the burner's air supply impeded by garden debris pushed into the air intake by the snow that slipped off the roof. When she entered the house, she was careful in wiping the snow off her boots before putting on shoes covers. She agilely climbed over our porch railings and snow banks several times to get to the air intake in order to diagnose the problem. Finally, she cleverly fixed the issue by cutting open the PCV pipe to vacuum out the debris.”

10 Things to Consider When Buying a New Furnace
Winter in Hudson is shaping up to be especially harsh this year. Can you imagine not having your furnace to help you make it through? You go to turn it on … and instead of rushing warm air through your ducts, it rattles, groans, and then just sits in sullen silence, clearly protesting another season of overworked servitude.
What Is That Burning Smell Coming From My Furnace?
There is nothing scarier than switching your furnace on in the fall and catching a whiff of something burning.
If that happens to you, try to stay calm. The odor could be a harmless sign that your furnace is burning off dust at the start of the heating season in Massachusetts. Or it could be a red flag for a more significant problem.
